Waterman Edson (medium 18k) £625 Sold.

First up is a Waterman Edson. As I type this I am already having doubts about whether I can let with it. It is a wonderful pen and has gorgeous looks backed up by a pleasurable writing experience.

This is in excellent condition throughout with nothing to report with regards scratches or dings in the cap or barrel.

It comes with the original Edson box which typically has the flaky fake leather that seems to fall off just by looking at it.

A smooth writer with a great looking nib. Lays down a Goldilocks line – not too wet, not too dry, not too broad, not too fine.

The photos below show it next to a Montblanc 149.

Pelikan M400 Tortoiseshell-Brown (fine) £185 Sold.

Mint condition M400 in the discontinued Tortoiseshell-Brown. Wonderful little pen that has such a pretty colour to it. (What appears black is actually a very dark brown).

The fine nib is very smooth, laying down a medium-wet line. I’d say it’s bordering on a medium-fine rather than a fine.

Again this is a pen I’m reluctant to sell and may withdraw from sale at a moments notice.
