Having a clear out!

It has been a while since I put out a blog post so I thought I would.

As you may be aware I have been having a clear out of several pens. I have to say that I would be happy to keep all of the ones I have put up for sale but as I just don’t get to use them half as much as I’d like. They would be better off going to someone who will put them to more frequent use. (If they don’t sell I will not be that sorry).

There is a new addition that I am raving about to anyone who will listen. This is a Pelikan M400 in Tortoiseshell-Brown.

It’s currently filled with Pelikan Smokey Quartz but I can see Montblanc Toffee Brown working out better for me.

It was a limited edition back in I think 2016 and this was was essentially new old stock.

It is a much smaller pen than I usually go for but it is for reasons unknown supremely comfortable without the cap posted. It also marks the first time in over ten years that I have owned a Pelikan.

Mine has a fine nib and I would say it’s is in between medium/fine. In short I love it and the tortoiseshell colour in this version is stunning. If you like Pelikan pens of this size and you can find one, I doubt you’d be disappointed. This one is a keeper!

I don’t really have any pens I desperately want to buy at the moment however – as I’m sure you are aware dear reader – this can change!!

If you are interested in any of the pens I have put up for sale, be quick! Some have gone to their new owners already and I have a tendency to change my mind about a pen offered for sale at a moments notice.
